The person appointed will need to have extensive experience of research work.

Burngreave New Deal for Communities/Black Card Trainee Small Grants/Funding Worker
Burngreave New Deal for Communities in conjunction with Black Community Agency for Regeneration and Development wish to recruit a full-time Trainee Small Grants /Funding Worker, initially for twelve months. Salary scale £12,000 -£15,000 per annum As part of the Burngreave New Deal for Communities regeneration programme, a Small Grants Fund for local voluntary/community groups is being set up with the assistance of Black Card. We require an enthusiastic person (preferably from the local area) to be employed as the Trainee Small Grants/FundingWorker. Based at Black Card and BNDfC you will assist in the distribution of small grants to local groups, whom you will also support. Training and support will be provided. Free training courses in Funding and Fundraising are being run for voluntary and community groups in Burngreave during February and March.
Funded by Burngreave New Deal for Communities, the course are aimed at members of local groups who want to develop their fundraising skills. Each course which runs over three separate days is being held at Ellesmere Children’s Centre. The first course starts on February 20th and the second one on March 13th.
