Cash Bonanza for Summer Activities!

A recent meeting of the BCAF Children and Young People’s Group welcomed news from Sheffield Futures, Community Recreation and the Out of School Network of extra funding this year for Summer Play activities, especially new funding for 5 to 13 year olds. Those present encouraged everyone to work together with those co-ordinating provision in a way that ensures that no children or young people are left out.

Play and Youth workers needed!

Extra resourcing for summer activities will provide opportunities for play and youth work, both paid and voluntary. Training and development packages available. Please note Police Checks are required, but new arrangements promise to rush these through in days!
