New chance to learn

by Sheena Clarke

Have you met the Adult Learning Outreach Team, Sheena Clarke, Palorine Williams and Simon Walker? We will be working in the area until the end of July and are busy talking to people about adult learning courses they might want to do.

We are visiting community groups, talking to people at various meeting places like cafes and outside schools as well as knocking on doors and talking to individuals. From the response we are getting it is clear that there is an huge interest in adult learning in the area.

We have a wealth of information about adult learning courses in Burngreave and the surrounding area – it doesn’t matter if you want to learn basic skills like English or maths, learn something new for ‘fun’ or go on a course that will help you get a job. We also have information about courses outside of Burngreave.

If you want to talk to us about what adult learning courses you would like to do contact us on 2787160 or come to our office at Burngreave Library (entrance off Spital Hill opposite William Hill’s bookies).
