Mediation is a way of helping victims and offenders communicate with each other. It can enable people to positively move on from what has happened. It is a free, confidential and impartial service.

Have you been a victim? Do you have questions you want answered? Do you want to tell the offender how the crime has affected you?

Have you been an offender? Do you want to apologise? Do you want to explain why you did it? Would you be willing to make amends?

Mediation can be through a mediator by letter or verbally, or face-to-face at a safe neutral venue in the presence of mediators.
