A group of concerned local residents have called on Burngreave New Deal for Communities to become more open and accountable. 

The Burngreave Accountability Campaign (BAC) have asked that a number of questions be  tabled and openly discussed at “New Deals” governing Partnership Board  meeting on Wednesday 27th February.  As this article goes to press, it is not known whether BAC’s request has been successful. 

The questions  BAC are asking relate to public accountability and openness, community participation, industrial relations, decision making public scrutiny of New Deal decisions and the future development of the project. We want to see New Deal improving the lives of local people, and we feel the best way to do this is to keep everyone involved and informed.
