Castles in the sky

Work has now started on improving Pitsmoor Adventure Playground. With the help of the Children’s Fund, Playground Staff and a group of volunteers a new castle structure now dominates the Pitsmoor Skyline. This is only the first stage, funding has been secured from New Deal for Communities for major redevelopment. On Saturday 8th June the Adventure Playground will close for approximately eight weeks. The ‘venture will re-open for the summer holidays with a brand new Kick Pitch and a lot more structures and things to play on. The playground is having a closure party on Saturday 8th June 12.00 - 5.00pm Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, have a look at the plans, and have an opportunity to talk to staff and volunteers working on the site, and a chance to become more involved with the playground.
